Chokolatta is a boutique chocolate store and confiserie in Los Angeles, California, with two locations, including a flagship store opened in 2019 near Beverly Hills’ iconic Rodeo Drive. Renowned for its handcrafted and hand-painted chocolates, Chokolatta offers a diverse selection ranging from classic white, milk, and dark chocolates to innovative flavors such as tequila and Mayan spicy. The brand’s Hispanic heritage is thoughtfully integrated into its concept. Their offerings include bonbons, chocolate-covered strawberries, and artisanal chocolate bars, all crafted with meticulous care and passion.

From Challenge to Solution

Chokolatta faced the challenge of standing out in the competitive luxury chocolate market while expanding its reach to a wider audience. The brand needed to establish a distinct identity that reflected its artisanal craftsmanship and Hispanic heritage, without resorting to clichés. Additionally, Chokolatta sought to maintain a high-end appeal, appealing to both locals and tourists, while creating an online presence to reach customers beyond their physical stores. As the sole designer responsible for every aspect of the project, I took on the task of transforming the brand from concept to completion, working in close collaboration with the owner to ensure every detail aligned with their vision.
