Sora Sushi is a popular sushi restaurant located in Zürich, Switzerland. Situated within Zürich’s main train station (Hauptbahnhof), the restaurant offers a convenient and vibrant dining experience, especially for those on the go. The ambiance of Sora Sushi is casual yet modern, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. Operated by Candrian Catering, Sora Sushi provides a quick and delicious sushi experience, perfect for travelers and locals alike.

    • From Challenge to Solution

    The challenge in designing the Sora Sushi logo was to reflect the meaning of “Sora” (meaning “heaven” or “sky”) and incorporate the restaurant’s iconic geisha statue. Inspired by traditional Japanese woodblock prints, the goal was to blend simplicity with cultural depth.

    Through research and design iterations, the logo evolved to balance modern and traditional elements. The final design features a geisha with a Japanese umbrella, resembling an impression from a traditional woodblock, effectively capturing Sora Sushi’s unique identity and turning the initial challenge into a cohesive and meaningful solution.
